Welcome to our New Web Site!

Written by Mark Lemieux

Building a new website is very much like building a branch new bank branch from the foundation all the way up to the roof.  There are so many decisions to make--from how big, to what will it look like, to how easy is it for people to find it, to get in and out of it and so on.

When we started on this journey over a year ago we had several things in mind:

1) We had to be able to update the website as fast as the news of the day occurs.  We swtiched website platforms and hosting agencies to make sure we had complete control over all of the updates and how fast they occured.

2) Make the website accessible to everyone.  From making sure the website is mobile compliant--meaning the site will rezise to fit your screen no matter what device you are using--to making it very lightweight so you don't burn through your data plan loading it to making sure we have the top of the line in ADA accessibility tools for those with visual or hearing impairments, having the site easy to use was a must for us

3) Everything you can do at a branch you can do from the comfort of wherever you happen to be.  We aren't there yet.  Frst step was putting down a solid foundation.  Next we start adding until we have it complete.  Look forward in the upcoming days, weeks and months to parts of the website that provide advice, guidance and education to help you make the most important of financial decisions.  We will also be adding portals that allow you to make a loan payment online by pulling money from a checking account not here at Citizens Bank.  We also will be adding the ability to open accounts online--that way you don't have to pull money from another bank to make your loan payments.

All of this is designed to help us be a bettter, more capable and more responsive community bank.
