Describe your position at Citizens Bank
I am a Mortgage Loan Originator. I have been hired to bring in mortgage loans for Citizens Bank. I have never been on the mortgage side of banking, but with my experience in banking and sales, I’m really excited to take on this new experience!
What is your favorite part about working for Citizens?
I really enjoy the people so far! Everyone has been really kind and helpful to me around here. I’m really excited to continue getting to know people throughout the bank!
Did you work in this field before coming to Citizens?
I have been in sales my whole career. Before this, I worked for Chase Bank as a Private Client Banker. I was there for 3 years, and prior to that I worked for Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor for 8 years.
What motivates you?
I’m a single dad with 4 kids at home, so my kids are my biggest motivators. They motivate me to get work done so I can take care of them. My kids are 8, 12, 14 and 16, so they keep me really busy
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping people. That’s really what made me want to take on this position. I am excited to be able to help someone start the journey to their new home, whether it’s their first home or the home they’re going to be retiring in. I love to be part of that important home buying journey.
What kinds of things do you like to do for fun?
Mainly, I am a chauffeur. I spend my time going to plays, recitals and softball games. I also love watching sports and getting together with friends, but my kids’ activities really take up about 90% of my life.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I think I would go back to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii in college with the school basketball team. It was fun, but it was also a work trip. We had things we had to be doing the whole time, so I would love to go back and really experience Hawaii over again.
I love taking trips with my kids, too, during their spring and fall breaks at school. Those are normally big family trips with all of the extended family.
What’s your favorite food?
I’m not picky. The only thing I won’t eat is olives. Overall, if I had to choose, Mexican food is my favorite cuisine
What is your favorite day of the week?
I love Saturdays. I can get things done at home without any interruptions.
What are the 2 things that make you the happiest?
1. Watching my kids succeed at things!
2. Being around my family and friends.
What else do you want customers to know about you?
I’m pretty much an open book. I’m always willing to tell you what’s going on, with your loan and with everything else.
