ETA (Electronic Transfer) Accounts
Account requires a Federal Recurring Direct Deposit to open the account. There are no checkwriting privileges, as all activity must be done electronically with an ATM card.

Checking Overdraft Service
CheckProtectQualifying personal checking accounts, and those that are in good standing, will automatically have overdrafts approved up to an amount of $500 (including NSF fee of $25 per item). Account must have an activity history of 60 days in order to qualify.
Citizens Bank CheckProtect Service Guidelines
In our effort to always provide excellent customer service, Citizens Bank will, as a discretionary service and not a right or obligation guaranteed to you, approve your reasonable overdrafts up to $500 when your personal account is in good standing. Good standing may include any or all of the following criteria:
- Your account has been open at least 60 days.
- You have deposited $500 or more in your account in the last 30 days.
- You have not been more than 15 days overdrawn in the past 30 days.
- You are not in default on any loan obligation to us.
- You are not subject to any legal or administrative order or levy.
As a general matter for the highest efficiency to the bank and for best customer service, we generally will pay checks and permit transactions up to a maximum of $500 total per account for NSF items, although special arrangements or circumstances may change this amount. Any and all bank fees and charges, including with limitation, the non-sufficient fund/overdraft fee of $25.00 per item will be included as part of this limit.
- AOD services will be suspended if overdraft is not paid within 30 days.
- Account will be closed if overdraft is not paid within 45 days.
- Overdraft fees may be imposed for overdrafts created by checks, ATM or in-person withdrawals, or by other electronic means, as applicable.
VISA Check Card
Accepted anywhere VISA is accepted. No charge for VISA transactions. No fees for cash withdrawals from ATM's owned by Citizens Bank.
