Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

Medical expenses continue to increase and Citizens Bank wants to help ease the burden that these expenses can place on you and your employees. Our Health Savings Accounts allow your employee's contributions to be fully deductible and their distributions for qualified medical expenses to be free from tax. In order for them to qualify for a H.S.A., they must be covered under a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) on the 1st day of the month the contribution is made. Accounts can be opened for as little as $1 and include a free debit card and the first 50 checks for free.

There is no service charge, annual fee or per check/debit fees!

*Contributions made to an HSA by you or someone other than your employer may be taken as a deduction. Account holder may not be a dependent or covered by another health plan that is not an HDHP, including Medicare.
